I became a therapist because of a desire to show people the beauty and delight of being in relationships, even when they’re hard, and to help people not feel so isolated. I strive to create an approachable space that is fun and playful, yet also deep and challenging. We will laugh and be humans together; honoring all of the messiness that comes along.
I came to where I am now after years as a community and labor organizer and understand how challenging it is to try to thrive within society as it currently functions. I believe that the “personal is political” and am open to helping clients develop more holistic treatment plans that incorporate drawing on the support and resources that exist in your community and realizing your ability to change both yourself and the broader society.
One aspect of my practice that has become increasingly important, is helping clients increase their connection to the healing power of nature and adventure. I have seen the positive and humbling impact of the outdoors on countless individuals and groups, especially those who have experienced trauma and oppression by what it teaches us about being human members of an ecosystem. Also, it rains sometimes. And that teaches us something too! Let’s walk and talk!
I utilize a liberative and relational framework to provide therapy, and invite folks seeking alternatives to traditional couples/family counseling, groups across the age spectrum, and individuals willing to try something different. I am experienced in incorporating elements of adventure/nature-based therapy, play and story, and spirituality and ritual of all kinds into my therapeutic approach.
You have so much to offer your community, even if it starts like singing an “off-key” karaoke song! If you are interested in building therapeutic relationships and gaining insight experientially, then I am thrilled to accompany you on that journey!

At the core of my work is the belief in the power of relationships to foster growth and healing.
While healing can look differently across individuals, it does not have to happen in solitude.
Life tosses us quite a few curveballs, whether they are related to work/school, relationships, life transitions, they can bring in an influx of emotions and discomfort, and I welcome you to bring it all!
Together, we can co-create a safe and nonjudgmental space that we will use as the foundation for navigating life’s challenges and stressors.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in compassion. I draw from ifs, dbt, spiritual exploration, and decolonial theory.
I have over five years of working in residential and outpatient settings, and I particularly enjoy working with folks who are interested in increasing self-awareness, discovering and/or honoring their most authentic selves as they navigate life’s ups and downs, and looking to increase their own sense of self compassion.
As an estranged Mexican American daughter of immigrants, I also value working and supporting those who are navigating difficult and dysfunctional relationships with family.

I offer trauma-informed care for individuals of all ages, with a focus on creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore and heal.
Drawing from an abolitionist and humanistic approach, I understand that our well-being is deeply connected to the social systems we navigate daily. Together, we’ll explore how these systems affect you and work to support your overall functioning and growth.
My background in occupational therapy allows me to blend traditional talk therapy with activity-based approaches, which can help us make meaningful changes in a way that feels engaging and practical.
I also specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those experiencing brain fog, especially from long-COVID, by providing support with cognition, memory, and executive functioning.
In addition, I have a deep commitment to working with chronically disabled individuals—whether you're navigating energy management, adapting your environment, or addressing the daily impacts of ableism, I’m here to offer understanding and practical support.
As a Black, queer, trans, and disabled person, I bring my own lived experience to my work, guiding my practice with empathy, care, and a commitment to honoring your unique identity and needs.
I truly believe in the power of collaboration and meeting you where you are in your journey toward healing.

Maybe your sense of purpose or meaning has gone missing recently. It could be that someone you love (or hate) is no longer here, or perhaps something you thought was a stable fixture of your life - a job, a relationship, a marriage, a friend, a pet, a community - is not so stable anymore.
You don't know why, maybe you don't even know how. Waking up is hard. Daily tasks are hard. That's okay. We'll start there.
Whatever the reason is, we can hold space together as we work collaboratively to build awareness, cultivate compassion toward your self no matter how your self shows up, and discover and act toward your values and desires.
I specialize in working with trauma, life transitions, grief, spirituality (including traditional/agnostic/atheist/alt/questioning/secular), and racial/ethnic identity.
I have extensive experience with mindfulness and other meditation techniques. I take an exploratory, non-directive, and slow approach in therapy, to let you feel free to feel and say whatever is in your body and mind.
As a queer Asian-American Buddhist, I know what it's like to navigate complex identities, lifestyles, and cultures. In our shared space, you're welcome in all facets of your being.
If you're looking for a space to explore deeply who you have been, who you are, and who you might be, please reach out.

After several years working in community mental health, I am practiced in working with a variety of diagnoses, symptoms, and life experiences.
Drawing upon my training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, my experience with mindfulness practice, and my knowledge of somatic and physiological processes, we will work together to move through what holds you back.
Working from an abolitionist framework, I am interested in the ways in which systems impact individual functioning, as well as how the individual engages with systems.
I am affirming of all lifestyles, orientations and identities, and invite you into a nonjudgemental therapeutic relationship.

I’m thrilled to be working with Rayo, as the facility continues to grow and reimagine the way we heal as a community.
I deeply believe in the power of peer work and love to share how it has changed my life.
I also hope to incorporate my love of the arts and creativity into the space and welcome all who attend.
